Most of my friends don't have multiply accounts (LOSERS...) and they want me to upload music via my Blogger account which as we all know is a ginormous pain in the butt. So I decided to reopen all music files to everyone.

me? a trainer? NO FRIGGIN WAY!!! REALLY?!?!
Just got home from the mall. My parents dropped me off for my job interview earlier and just had me ride a cab to the mall. I got to the Buendia location fairly early. I was asked to accomplish the usual application form and to use one of the company's computers (at the kiosk) to repeat the application process albeit in the form of an online resume creator.
Then more people began coming in, I was actually worried all of them were applying for the same position I was. Then, I noticed that the woman manning the front desk was specially attentive to MY needs. She got up to make sure I was ok with filling out the form and whatnot. Then I discovered that a "different" person was supposed to interview me and I had to wait 'til this person came. Hmmm...fishy-fishy-fishy...upon being ushered into one of those aquarium-like rooms where they conduct the interviews, I got the shock of my life...THEY WERE CONSIDERING ME FOR THE TRAINER POSITION!!! WTF?! Not that I'm complaning, I just didn't expect my application for that position to fly.
Oh well...back there on Monday for a mock presentation. Now...what topic to cover for a 10-15 minute presentation?

brand spanking new uploads...
Well, High Voltage and Mute Math (well, at least half of it...) are finally up. I kinda slipped and left the AC/DC album open to everyone. I'll be correcting that soon though. In about an hour everything should be completely finished.
Technical info about the tracks:
Technical info about the tracks:
- AC/DC's High Voltage is high quality @320kbps.
- MuteMath's Mute Math is reasonable @256kbps (hey! it's 20 friggin tracks ok?!)
- ALbum artwork for both are included in posts announcing their respective upload times.
- Lastly, if you like the songs, go buy the album!!!
uploading "Mute Math (Special Edition)"...
Here's the special edition album of the very cool MuteMath! They remind me of an edgier yet more melodic Sting. The special edition album has two CDs. The second CD features a set they did, it's called the "Live at El Ray" limited edition CD. Hope you guys like it!

PSPhone...a definite maybe!!!
Wow! If this stuff is true...I might need to shackle myself up to stop myself from splurging on the PSP Slim when it comes out! After all, I DID miss the opportunity to pre-order the Final Fantasy Crisis Core pack...only 77,777 units out there. DAMN IT!
Go HERE to read up on this sizzling morsel of news.
planning my return to the blogosphere...
I'm currently preparing myself to re-immerse my brain in the fun yet cutthroat world of blogging. It's been quite a while and I'm afraid I'm running out of reasonable and valid excuses not to post stuff.
My trip to Singapore has been moved to the 5th of January 2008 because my family (apparentyl, without my knowledge...) has reached a compromise and they are allowing me to spend my Christmas to New Year's holidays here in the Philippines. I would've agreed to everyhting had they taken the time to get my approval, since I am aware that it'd be about one to two years before I could go home again. My brother might be home for the holidays and he's not willing to leave me alone there but for sure, he'll be coming home on May. That will be the time I'd be left to my own devices in his house.
I've been racking up quite a few albums via iTunes. I'm going to share a lot of albums once I've finished using 80-100% of my bandwidth. I've got cool stuff from the 70's and 80's. I've gotten old stuff from AC/DC, best-of albums by Aerosmith and Queen, Green Day albums, and other goodies. I promise to upload a boatload of high quality mp3's (@320kbps) as soon as possible.
I'm also planning on working about 3 months just to scrub up cash for the holidays and some pocket money for my trip. I've got a few companies lined up and have been invited to interviews by some.

going with the flow...
...sometimes, saying as much means you're doing a good thing, but then again, many would argue that simply going "with the flow" makes for a very boring and "un-educational" experience. In my case, it just means sitting around, bumming the whole day.
Am I satisfied? No
Do I still want? Yeah, a lot actually...
Am I in desperate need of basic necessities? Not exactly...
So, right now, all I fear is "settling". I hate stagnation. Stagnation means I'm wasting time, and that's one thing I don't have a lot of. I fear becoming like my sister. I don't want to settle for what could be easily attained. I want to blaze my way to glory. No, I don't mean Alexander-ish or even 300-ish...I just want more but right now, I'm unwilling to do anything about it. I don't want to end up breaking a sweat for what I want to have...not a great philosophy if you ask me. It's not doing me any good.

yes...I am very much alive
It's been a while but I can honestly say I don't miss blogging that much. My life has been running at the pace of a whirlwind these past few weeks and I'm not surprised I haven't been able to do anyhting online for the longest time.
Thing is, my EPEC application was approved by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) of Singapore which pretty much hits the last nail on the coffin. Yes, I am leaving...when, I'm not so sure. I'm still waiting for the actual certificate to be sent to me via snail mail but I'm in no rush. I've also been busy exchanging emails with my brother since I will be living off of him for a while when I finally pack up and transfer my whole life there. I got the feeling that he's trying to keep me here as long as he can and only wants me to buy a plane ticket when I actually have secured favorable prospects in terms of work. Hmmm...fishy...and here I thought he was going to be head over heels, practically pulling me by the arm to leave already but alas, this is not the case.
I've been busy prettying up my resume just like a friend of mine, Deej, suggested. I'm trying to pack all the punch I can into my resume. After all, your resume is truly the first impression you make to would be employers.
In th social scene, I'm having a little get together tomorrow with some friends. It's sort of a little semi-"despedida" just to make sure I'm able to catch up with some friends before leaving this god forsaken country. It also coincides with my sister's birthday party. She's not adding another year 'til the 13th of course but what the heck...I'm the one who's going to be cooking anyway.
I've also been tutoring recently. I'm helping a high school senior out with his Physics class. To be honest, he's dumb as a rock but who cares...I still get paid anyways.
Recently, I've been noticing another change in my musical tastes. I've been hawking ancient rock albums these past few weeks. I've got Queen, old stuff from Aerosmith, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, The Who and other similar bands. It's quite interesting seeing my parents "recognize" the tunes blasting from my speakers. I've also been playing old Guns N' Roses tracks non stop, which is quite enjoyable...
We also made a recent family purchase. We bought this big ass Samsung HD LCD TV with all the trinkets that would make it awesome. My sister also got herself a slim fit Samsung TV. So it goes without saying, we love Samsung in our house. I'm actually planning on buying new phone...also from Samsung. Well, I've been lounging around in the sofa area making the most of the new TV...let me tell you, Final Fantasy never looked sooooo damn good! We've recently gone on a shopping spree for DVDs...I've finally gotten my parents off of the pirated wagon and we're now busy hoarding good DVDs from any respectable shop we come across.
I hope to be able to post mor eoften now...
